  2. If you believe in capitalism, then there is no such thing as "predatory usury." If you willingly entered the contract, then you were aware of the terms, rate, etc. Your issue with interest on lending is immaterial it being part and parcel to capitalism.

  3. You're being unfair to this particular author, whose editor's titling of the story doesn't do the author's distaste of communism justice. That said, the entire communism series NYT has run is awful - these are the true inheritors of Walter Duranty.
