  1. You’re right, though. He had a lot of “not thinking this through” here. The current problem with district attorneys is that they’re elected by a feral electorate who have sons who kill and rob. The same problem would manifest itself outward.

  2. This is straight up naive. The same people who chose police work now will continue to chose it, so you haven’t solved any problems you’ve only turned them into Montagues and Capulets. The problem isn’t even our police; it’s specific groups with extreme propensity for crime and little else. We could defund the police is the people who commit most of the shootings and homicides were repatriated.
