  1. Churchill was a brain dead Warhawk and he’s my litmus test for how closely people paid attention to history. If you like Churchill, then you buy the bullshit. America should have never been in that war and neither should England, and that stupid drunk got 750,000 men killed so that Hitler couldn’t have half of Poland but Stalin, a man worse than Hitler, could have ALL OF POLAND and most of Eastern Europe. Zelenskyy is exactly like Churchill, he’s the man we should have shot to stop a war.

He’s easily be if the most erroneously praised men in recent history, like Lincoln or Mandela in the sense that everything t we hear about them was a post facto justification for their cruelty and incompetence. When you realize 400,000 American men died to stop Hitler from having half of Poland only to give all of it — and most of Eastern Europe — to someone worse than Hitler then you know the mistake that war was.

  3.  @81hewp  As utterly basic and low-IQ as your statement is, initially, it may easily be the wisest thing anyone has ever said when reflecting on invaders in history. I’ve always thought the more politically profound statement in the second amendment is the first part. We won’t stay free if we keep getting invaded.
