  1. I’ve spent a lot of time around Harvard students and what I found consistent through all of them was the utter lack of critical thinking. What separated them from most people I knew was their youthful ambition to “be something” that most of us aren’t willing to sacrifice when we’re young… but they were essentially quick-recall encyclopedias without any skill for abstract thinking. They certainly wouldn’t even entertain the unorthodox.
