If it were only mediocrity that they could accomplish, then I would settle for that.

@funkydiscogod Or Detroit. Or Cleveland. Or Buffalo. Or….

You're missing the point — it's not events that unnerve them in themselves; they're all on a Cluster B spectrum. Once you understand the 'ideology' is a symptom of a deeper personality disorder, everything else makes sense.

History is starting to look a lot more different through this modern lens of experience, too.

Inferiority complex by people with Cluster B personality disorders. It’s literally no more complex than that.

"no value" would be acceptable. To be benign is one thing; to be malignant is quite another.

The irony of CRT is that the entire ideology was stolen like so many bicycles.

There is nothing more fascist than the phrase “right side of history.” History is neither predetermined nor possible to know because the future is unpredictable.

He was in the car but got out. George Floyd died because the officers entertained him instead of just putting him in the car and driving away to the jail.

Those Portuguese people managed to create a good deal of this problem in the New World.

Right? I’m of central and Eastern European descent and never thought of myself as “white” – a term in America previously reserved for Northern European settlers — before other people forced me into that corner and “consciousness.”

Insert Name Here Your statistic is out of date. The latter number is 56, though half of all homicides — mostly in inner cities — go unsolved so the number is likely much higher.

@AABB-zb6dv Read Karl Popper at least to understand the Paradox of Tolerance. There is a criteria for an Enlightenment society to remove, even by force, those that can not be trusted with Enlightenment values.
2
@AABB-zb6dv Yes — our wealth. The United States was responsible for less than 4% of the slave trade — the Portuguese, English, Spanish and Dutch (with Jewish help ) dominated it. But we’re rich and they’re lazy, so…

Atheism is also stupid. I had Hitchens as a professor and heard all the arguments…. Agnosticism is the only rational position on the metaphysical. Nobody knows.

@Azuki_Uki People who think Green Day is a good band are worse.

Innocent may be a stretch. But I can understand their actions beyond what was in the video. People get sick of being the targets of theft and no one doing anything about it.

@stickemuppunkitsthefunlovi4733 You’re creating a strawman here. The standard of Justice is “not guilty.”

Both words were culturally appropriated from Scots, too.

You’d have more success trying to teach cliff rocks to speak Mandarin Chinese.

@drowningin Not quite, according to WEB DuBOIS, a black intellectual visiting Germany in 1936 and liking it. He said only USSR was a greater exemplar of marxian socialism in the world than Germany. The Germans ousted their Strasserists so they weren’t as left as the Soviets.

@abrahamlincoln9758 Oh. A Plato reference! Giving them a little too much credit there…

French and German intellectuals — Postmodernists and Frankfurt School — were the ones who took Gramsci's ball and ran with it.
