What's daunting is a Cambodian boat girl can arrive with her family at five and by age ten speak better English than 80% of black Americans whose only written language in their entire history has been English. By age 15, that boat girl taught her Cambodian grandmother to speak English and Tyrone still can't read at grade level. Amazing.

You have Santa Claus, the Easter bunny, hot dogs and hamburgers because of Germans. Rockefeller is a German name. English and French laid the groundwork and law for America, but Germans built it. The other Europeans — Italians, Scots-Irish, various Slavic or Nordic places — filled in the blanks. But Germans built America.

The worst that happened to them was seasonally picking cotton while they wore clothes for the first time. Black American slavery was exponentially easier than any Janissary or galley slave work. Black Americans think they’re the only slaves in history. Black Americans picked so little cotton….
