Martin Jenkins If you brought 20 friends to someone’s bar on your suggestion, and they bought drinks all night making the bartender a lot of money, don’t you think the bartender owes you a couple drinks for free for bringing in all the business? That’s what corporations tax relief is. When a company becomes an anchor a shopping center and helps all those little businesses in the center, everyone wins. When a large company moves to a city because they were enticed with a lower corporate tax it’s still a win for a locality because locality city gets the income tax from new jobs and spending from new people. Everyone wins.
