  2. It’s not that simple. Our “neighbors” were primitive before we arrived for a reason and the Africans that have flooded our civilization have been what has allowed China to catch up. While we were abandoning our cities because of high crime we were also abandoning the proximity model of creating wealth. We’re supposed to decentralize government and centralize production, not the other way around.

  4. A tariff is siege warfare as opposed to bullets. Since we’ve become super destructive, most of our conflicts have been played out in such punitive ways that are, like you said, destructive to us, too. But they are preferable to the alternative. Of course we’re reliant of China for cheap products because “equity” has made the cost of everything in America more expensive and inefficient. That would have to end before we cut ties with China.
