No they don't. Fascism is muscular Keynesianism with a nationalist backstory. That's all. FDR admired Mussolini — fascists are Italian, BTW — and the new deal is as doctrinally fascist as it gets. Capitalism remains the revolution. Fascism is at war with capitalism, too.

@joao.fenix1473 You're obviously not an economist. Capitalism isn't the market. The market is a thing in itself. Capitalism is ONLY — can't stress this enough — ONLY when the government doesn't interfere with the private transactions of the market. The market is the market. The market is the market. The market is the market.

@JL-XrtaMayoNoCheese They fought because they were attacked.

@RevoltAgainsttheOrder history is far more gutter than you give it credit for. Example — historians tell us that the Americans Civil War was about slavery. If you asked anyone fighting the war on either side, why they were fighting, almost none of them would say slavery and if you told them, that’s why they laid their arms down right then and there. They fought for resources .

America was isolationist all the way up to just before we got a central bank.

@joao.fenix1473 Of course it is — “corpus” means the body. You incorporate WITH THE STATE. That’s not private, by axiom. Corporatism isn’t capitalism. Capitalism is outside the state almost entirely — a tick to the left of anarcho-capitalism. “Corporatism became one of the main tenets of fascism, and Benito Mussolini's fascist regime in Italy advocated the total integration of divergent interests into the state for the common good; however, the more democratic neo-corporatism often embraced tripartism.” Sounds like America now — also not capitalism and not even close.

You’re either too lazy or too stupid to realize you’ve been lied to; worse— you’d rather defend the perpetrators of that lie than think.

Really well made content from a single source. Perhaps marx is right about who should tell history — not the motives of kings or popes who lead but the consequences paid by the plebes.

I’ve said this repeatedly — WWII began in an attempt to stop one mustached man from taking half of Poland and ended — 40 million dead later — by giving ALL of Poland and most of central and Eastern Europe to an EVEN WORSE mustache man.

I wish people understood what you said — they the Austrian painter was essentially Bernie Sanders if you replace Jew for billionaire. The painter’s mistake was that he changed his people to remove a contagion when he should have just removed the contagion.

@what-uy7go Demand a refund from the people who claimed to teach you history.

“Looking Back on the Spanish War” by Orwell. He doesn’t exactly apologize for fighting on the left, but you know he knows it was a mistake. Fascinating essay.

@AnakinSkywakka I’m not going to miss you when you parasites are made to leave another country your weren’t invited to enter.

@RevoltAgainsttheOrder Faacism is a reaction to a reaction, nothing more. They were reacting to outsider communists by matching them. You know it doesn’t matter what an obscure finance minister believes in terms of how history works, right ? I highly doubt that even a third of Italians at the time even knew who he was but they knew who they didn’t like. Not everyone does the economical reading. In fact, almost no one does.

@damienchall8297 What a dumb and ahistorical thing to say, stupid.

@what-uy7go Trade with all, treatise with none is Jefferson, stupid. You really should stop talking.

@what-uy7go Get that refund, stupid. And clean the toilets like you were told.

@ZoomerHistorian Per this topic — Irving called FDR America’s greatest president. That was a red flag — though he said this because of the way FDR fleeced Britain of its imperial possessions. All history is simulacra.
