But your second part is pure speculation: you’re assuming normal-people situations that escalate into violence when they don’t need such conditions to escalate violence. That kid that got stabbed in NYC last week only wanted the feral boy to stop damaging things. It takes almost nothing to set them off, and the more there are the less there needs to be to set them off. But your first point can’t be argued.
