What you’re learning is the problems aren’t really the policies, per se, but the people — in both American and European cities, new(er) migrations— that turn the place to shit. You could put laissez faire, right wing policies to work in Kinshasa or Nairobi and it will fail. Right wing policies, or the removal of them, would still lead to failure among certain demographics.
