Just because it was a response to what the Soviets were doing in Russia doesn’t make it a good system. Germans in America built America. They had a freer system than Germans in Germany and accomplished more.

Cities like Baltimore, Detroit, St Louis and New Orleans were among the wealthiest cities in the history of the world until the great migration destroyed them. The wealthiest man who ever lived once called Cleveland, OH, home. Check the demographics on that city and the homicide rate. You have no idea how feral and savage they are in greater numbers.
