  2.  @TonyRule  Unfortunately Reagan’s adventurism around the world trying to fight a Cold War caused more problems than it solved. We wouldn’t have a single Somali in America had Reagan not tried to lure Barre onto his side. And he got suckered into amnesty.

I’m American and of Central European descent, so no Anglophile, but I watch a country that has no shortage of great men shorted out by people with pathological empathy and disdain for the people who called that place home for centuries. I don’t know why you call don’t become more Jacobin — French, not Scottish. These people should fear you.
