  1. What’s important to remember is there was never any white slave raids into Africa like Turks or Berbers did of Europeans. Whites could not travel inland into Africa until very recently — too many diseases and extremely hostile natives. But they didn’t have to – the Africans did the work of bringing slaves to the shore for them.
