National socialism was more like fascism than communism, but the central planning is what made it bad. America stopped being capitalist at the same time, and it’s been a disaster. For both of our countries, the saving grace has been the resourcefulness of the people themselves to overcome central planning, not embrace it.

  4.  @jonbon8598  And they needed oil. The marxists made no secret that they wanted Germany, not Russia. It was always just a matter of time. To me, I think the United States should have never entered that war. We should have let German fight the commies and then assess what to do after that war was over.
