  2. America certainly proved that at least partially untrue, just not wholly. Plenty of Italians and Irish married in America and started prosperous businesses and families. Most white Americans aren't of just one European ethnicity — lots are Scotch-Polish-Swedish on one side and Dutch-English on the other, or something like that. Have you ever seen someone named Santangelo with red hair? Within a band of people, and with the opportunity and innovation they had together, light ethnic mixing we called the melting pot has been an enormous benefit. Some ingredients should never be added.

  3. Hungary is beautiful. I've been all over. Its one of those countries where the GDP per capita doesn't explain their wealth. Their wealth is in that color yellow, relative peace and home-grown wines.

  5. Far more fascinating about black history is what doesn't make it to the month — LIke the first two republics founded by blacks in the history of the world. You'd think that would be something they were proud of, but they leave it out. When you find out those places are Haiti and Liberia, the who scam is apparent.
