Nope... you're not thinking this through. The problem isn't term limits, or politicians, or even the media. The problem is our dumb electorate who have instilled the institutional power to these positions in the first place. I will enthusiastically vote for a 24-term incumbent who promises to do nothing than a challenger who promises the moon to politically/economically illiterate voters who gave them all this power in the first place instead of taking more responsibility for your own life. Try to think this through. NOT thinking it through is how we are all here now.

It's exponentially more honest and succinct than what you just wrote and it spares us all the cringe of how little you know and how irascibly you don't know it. All you're doing is repeating villain buzzwords some other objectively stupid person who also doesn't understand economics said... and poorly. People might even respect you for your humility. Try it, say :"I don't understand economics." Start there. You've got a long way to go.

I am so glad America was designed NOT to be a democracy because it spares me from your quixotic whims. You're showing us why the biggest political problem is not politicians, or even the media, but our uniformed and emotional electorate. I 'd rather a 19-term rep literally do nothing than have a challenger who promises economic/politically illiterate voters take largesse from other people. Know who else wanted that? Hopefully, you think it's amendment, but even if you are only off by a word, you have confirmed my gratitude that America is NOT a democracy by design.
