@noahwalters2732 Point of Order: Trump did not "create." Politicians don't create good economies or jobs. They get out of the way of them. That's literally all they can do. Trump deserves praise not for "creating" anything, but for destroying regulations, cutting taxes and decentralizing government. Thomas Sowell predicted this would happen, even as Sowell does not like Trump. Consequently, Paul Krugman predicted the opposite....

@noahwalters2732 Your argument would be valid if the New Deal worked. It didn't. It failed spectacularly. There is the myopic view, that the short-term government spending will "stimulate" the economy. But it always costs more jobs in the long run because you take productive wealth out of the hands of the people who can use it best and give it to incompetents.
