Like he did on myriad occasion. Still, show me a place in the world, save antarctica, that had less slavery than the United States. Maybe Australia? America was, and is, prosperous not because it had slavery but because it had so little of it. Abolition movements are a purely western phenomenon, and it was these abolitionist movements that forced other societies — Islam-based societies — to free their slaves. A little more perspective from you would serve you well.
