@stache1954 Isn’t that the great irony? These news stations hire POC reporters as token representation but because they’re so mediocre as reporters all they know how to do is follow a police scanner to their cousin’s neighborhood after a shooting. Their very mediocrity exposes the greater problem. They’re not enterprising, they just want to file a shooting story and wear nice clothes on camera.

You’re picking up the story at the end — the people who built those neighborhoods were already “cleansed” out of them. Ever notice how Jabari shoots JaMarcus on Pulaski Street or Lafayette Drive? Those streets were named for the ethnicities of the people who built them. You’re watching the end of The Planet of the Apes.

@knine8154 These savages are so expensive. Billions spent just patching up bullet holes isn’t even the worst part; it’s that we allocate our best surgeons to patching up the savages and they stick us with the hospital bill so those savages can do it again.
