You understand that they’ve never built a single building that they live in today or any of the institutions they attend, right?

When those southern men we were raised to hate appear, on closer inspection, to be canaries in a coal mine as to what blacks can do to civilizations they had no hand in building ….

It was a beautiful city before the great migration. Most Americans cities can trace their destruction directly to migrating blacks. As soon as they arrived, they rioted and burnt down neighborhoods they had no hand in building. In fact, not a single block where blacks live today was built by them. Who built the neighborhood you live in, Saline? Germans? Poles? Italians?

It’s like you were never a part of a high school mob or think yourself so sophisticated that you can’t remember how dumb you were then.

That’s not their responsibility. The news has one obligation — to present facts in a story.

@jessemccord1878 Again, they don’t owe you any of this. If that woman wanted to talk, the news crew could have insisted she show her face. The interviewer has something to gain from this transaction, and news reporters aren’t police. They have zero to obligation to maintain your anonymity and by showing her arms they’re revealing a world that paints the situation better than her words.

@seanmarkham6965 It’s amazing what you don’t understand about this! What’s also amazing is that you’d deny yourself first amendment protections for your limited understanding of journalistic ethics.
