  1. makes sense- we didn't want to crash the economy by telling people about an invasion- we instead prepared to invade the Donbas region with over 100,000 soldiers but instead russia invaded us and we had our economy crash anyway.....so what was the win? even a pro Ukraine person should admit that is a half-ass response
