NATO doesn’t do trench warfare, NATO does combined arms mobile warfare which Russia cannot do, they can’t even gain air superiority over the poorest nation in Europe and their next-door neighbor Lol.

@johnteets2921 Lol then why has Russia been fighting trench warfare for the last two years? Why does it take Russia 6 months to take a small town, does that sound “mobile” to you? Russia can’t even gain air superiority against the country with a handful of planes. You obviously have no idea what combined arms is, a good example is the Gulf War when America defeated the 3rd largest army in the world in 96 hours and that’s exactly what NATO would do to Russia.

This is just a move to draw NATO into the conflict and bring it to a rapid end. NATO does not need America to decimate Russia in short order, that’s been proven.

Lol, France has a nuclear armed professional military that is many times more power than Russias garbage army of convicts & old alcoholic cannon fodder. It wouldn’t even be a contest, France would defeat Russia in short order but they are not sending over combat troops they are sending over troops to man the air defense systems & train Ukrainian troops but the hope is that France will be drawn into the conflict so they can bring it to a rapid end.

@tntfreddan3138 This has been done many times before, during Americas war in Vietnam China sent 300,000 Chineese soldiers to north Vietnam to man anti-aircraft, drive trucks & do administrative task. Civilians don’t understand that less than 15% of the military actually fights, the rest is all to support that infantryman at the front.

It doesn’t matter, NATO wants to get involved and bring this war to a rapid end & cause the Russian Federation to become a failed state through revolt of the people at losing the war or by destroying their economy by removing their ability to export oil & petrochemicals. The French army is kind of pathetic and nothing to worry about as usual but they have a hell of a lot of weapons & nukes.

This is just a ploy to get NATO involved in the Ukraine War so they can bring it to a rapid conclusion and end Russias imperialistic ambitions & actions once and for all to ensure a secure Europe. If not NATO directly it will be a European “ coalition of the willing” involving Germany, UK, Poland, the Baltic states and who knows who else, Norway & Finland most likely. Toppling the Russian Federation by causing a revolt or economic collapse is not a smart idea, at least 11 new countries will rise from the ashes of what was once Russia many of them run by brutal dictators and many with nuclear weapons. There are worse people than Putin but they see this as a Neville Chamberlain moment and they won’t repeat that mistake twice.

@papatoomey595 NATO has only sent 2% of their firepower to Ukraine and none of their 3.5 million active duty soldiers. If NATO enters this war it will be over in less than a week and with what remains of the Black Sea fleet at the bottom, that’s not bravado or speculation that’s fact and that’s why Russia would never under any circumstance invade a NATO nation. Face the facts Russias military is a joke, I’m not saying they can’t cause a lot of damage and kill a lot of people they can, mostly civilians, but they wouldn’t last a week against a professional western military many times their size, get real.

@Betz23K NATO has 3,673,000 uniformed active duty military personnel and 8,420,000 active duty reservist. Americas active duty military is 1.4 million, NATO doesn’t need America to easily defeat Russia.

@papatoomey595 - It’s been cut off because of a handful of American republicans, they have received no aid in 6 months. America will trickle in more weapons to allow Ukraine to keep Russia from taking more territory but they will never give them enough weapons to win because a victory would mean the end of the Russian Federation and at least 11 new countries rising from the ashes that used to be Russia with many with dictators and many with nuclear weapons. It will be a much more dangerous world, Putin is just a bag of wind who makes big nuclear threats but would never under any circumstances attack a NATO country or use nukes first, do you think the Kremlin is not aware of the vast military superiority the west has over them in both conventional and nuclear weapons? It’s not a secret and there is no question about the west being vastly superior, Russia is not a threat to America or the rest of Europe because they don’t have the military power to even be a threat. Russia can’t win a war on their own border and you think they are going to sack Berlin, London & Helsinki? Russia doesn’t have an expeditionary force, they can’t invade anyone unless they share a border, only America is capable of large scale expeditionary warfare, because the massive logistic requirements which Russia has always been horrible at.
