  1.  @12kenbutsuri  interesting, given how Tokyo is still more quiet compared to many other car-centric cities. Also, hard to commute? Even with lots of expressways and public transit networks cris-crossing the city? Just want to know your perspective, since I live in Manila, a city definitely far worse than Tokyo in terms of liveability.

  2. If they're around or near railway stations, turn them into mixed use transit oriented developments, like what Japan does all the time, or like Brightline in FL.

  5. Given that Victoria is located along the Pacific Ring of Fire, parks can also double as evacuation areas. Might as well have both parks and new housing developments to ensure that the city survives future disasters.
