  10. She's drunk and her "fight or flight" instincts are taking over. Innate impulses in your brain can hijack your mind when confronted with danger. I've seen upstanding sober people become belligerent and combative when faced with arrest in an attempt to avert imminent danger.

What you're witnessing here are characteristics of a pseudo "honor culture", similar to what you see in the Southern U.S. There's an innate, deeply ingrained emphasis on upholding a tradition for the sake of upholding it; idolatry worship (colors, symbols, "signs", etc), rebuking "outsiders", exacting revenge in honor to defend some type of honor.

  20.  @alb12345672  Remember.....most men end up getting married because they're pressured into it by their girlfriends, societal expectations, etc. They end up "going along" with it because they lost the battle of attrition. But it's a fact that 50% of marriages end in divorce while the other 50% fights with each other like Arabs vs Jews. Something to think about....
