  1. The issue with marriage is the cultural and expectation component of it all. A lot of people get married because their parents, friends, siblings did it, but is it what they really want? We live in a society where manipulating others with guilt and shame seems to be a recurring theme. "Be a man".."do right thing"..and all this other nonsense talk. If you get married because you enjoy having sex with someone you better think twice, because commingling finances and responsibilities will kill your sex life.

  2. The reason divorce is all about money is because of marriage. Marriage has nothing to do with love, and this becomes evident when the judge splits up assets, etc during divorce proceedings according to a predetermined mathematical formula. Marriage is antiquated and benefits women for the most part. Why do you think all those banshees pressure their boyfriend for a ring?
