  1. You need cognitive behavioral therapy because your mind is stuck in the anxiety loop, like a broken record. It will help you to not make such a big deal out of your anxiety. Stop fighting with your anxiety but accept it, invite it into your life, and make it your friend.

  3. Listen up. You're an adult and not her "child" anymore. You don't owe her anything. You can choose your friends but you can't choose your family. So, don't put up with abuse behavior from family members that you would never tolerate from a friend or an acquaintance. Your mom doesn't get a pass because she's your "mom." Something to think about.

  5.  @damonhtoo  I don't know why her video popped on my YT feed, but I decided to give it a look in addition to some of her other videos. This poor girl was obviously subjected to verbal abuse tactics by a controlling mother. She has an anxious disposition by nature which is exacerbated by a controlling parent. She's in a state of arrested emotional development, hence her constant quest for a safety zone that won't elicit feelings of anxiety. She needs coping skills. Things will work out for her just fine...in time.

  6. It's a good thing you're addressing your anxiety issues now because it will become an impediment when advancing your career. Forgoing opportunities because they evoke anxiety will obviously limit your career opportunities. I've had a very successful career path, but I was also let go once from a high paying job because of my habit of forgoing to attend national industry "events." It was not so much anxiety but more my innate disdain for large crowds and venues.

  7. You must live in Southern California where everyone is obsessed with looks and trying to look like a movie star. Move to northern California; it's so different from the pretentious SoCal vibe.

  10.  @MetaRobertics  Her anxiety is also fueled by a lack of direction and motivation. She's beset by an innate form of "low energy" and it really bothers her. She knows that she should have goals, a purpose, or passion, but she doesn't. She has so much going for her though. She's articulate, attractive, and seems like a caring individual. She should channel her dysphoria into a podcast. I think she'll do well.

  11. You need to get evaluated by a medical professional, not your mom. Everybody is autistic all of a sudden these days. It reminds me of the gluten intolerance fad that everybody is now afflicted with.
