Yeah, I think I'm going to form an Indie band and use that name

@seanthe100 Right? The seal comparison would make sense paddleboarding in Northern California, Australia, or South Africa. Last time I checked Great Whites are not common in the Bahamas.

Cloaking yourself in the American flag and proudly clutching a firearm is all you need to ward off COVID-19....or something like that.

@sleepinglady2778 My thoughts exactly. There's a strong possibility that these apparitions are inter-dimensional and beyond our basic comprehension of the laws of physics. They could have been here since the universe was created but guided by a different set of principles in the physics realm.

Remember......UFOs are inter dimensional, hence the frequent disappearing acts.

This is not living your life to the fullest but rather being in a state of subjugation just so you can live. Sacrificing your freedom and time for a job should never be worn as a badge of honor. Some would argue that this is all worth it for the pension benefits; however, life is very dynamic and if you succumb to an illness or death a year after retiring , was it really worth it? Your golden years are not so golden having to deal with severe knee arthritis, back pain, or a more serious, inevitable aging related illness.

It all depends on the write up or request for the procedure by your doctor. Since you did present with symptoms (stomach pains), your colonoscopy was not considered a routine screening but rather a diagnostic procedure to diagnose your issue. Also, even if it was a routine screening, you're only covered 100% if you meet the recommended age guidelines which is 45 and up these days. It used to be 50 and up. I had one last February and didn't see a bill from anyone, but that's because it was a routine screening.

@hammerandthewrench7924 Spot on. So many people are quick to resort to the knee jerk, gut instinct based hypothesis and assume it's gospel. There have been many cases of vegans coming down with colon cancer. I read a couple of those case studies. The "but I eat so healthy" reaction won't necessarily save you after a life altering diagnosis.

And going through something like this will test your relationship with your partner, too. I've experienced it, rebuilding after a hurricane. The stress level navigating the insurance claims mess is some next level nightmare stuff. Stand in line with everyone else filing a claim.

I bailed out of going to Hudson Bay this season because of the anticipated lack of sea ice formation. And based on what I saw on the polar bear cams, there wasn't a whole lot of action along the banks of Hudson Bay with bears congregating to take the journey on their temporary floating ice home. Sad.

@salt1360 He's not spreading false information. Look up the 2022 Journal of American Medicine Associations publication regarding a meta analysis of about 25 clinical trials and studies going all the way back to 1987. The hard facts and numbers prove that when looking at absolute risk, statins reduce the incidence of cardiovascular disease and all cause mortality by a mere 0.8% to 1.3%, which is statistically insignificant. Pharmaceutical companies were touting the relative (comparative) risk results as their gold standard, but that doesn't give you the real picture. They do reduce the body's process of making LDL cholesterol while falling short on preventing cardiovascular disease.
