  1. Yes, it's harder finding a good remote job these days. I worked 100% remote for a large fortune 500 company for about 20 years. But after I got laid off with severance, I've noticed that working remote is now seen as a non-negotiable perk by most employers. Going back to an office and donning a pretentious game face while having to listen to your director using "circle back around" type of phrases is torture.
