I read somewhere that she was an avid runner. I wonder if she was out for a jog when the medical emergency happened. As an avid runner myself and in the same age range, it's always in the back of my mind.

Because we're obsessed with sports heroes. Moreover, football is a sacrosanct institution in America. Failure to worship football luminaries is heresy and fundamentally un-American.

Go Canada! Calfire has had a contract with Canada in place for quite some time for fixed-wing water-bomber aircraft assistance during the California fire season. I think they're based in Quebec and Alberta. The latter province by the way is one of the most beautiful places on the planet!

I didn't expect that line of thinking from O'Leary because he seems like a straight shooter. Making material false statements on loan applications, conspiring to commit fraud, etc., are all federal crimes. I know of a one man real estate investor who spent time in federal prison for making false statements on loan applications. But to be fair, it's possible that banks officials who approved loans for the Trump Org. were also complicit. Who knows what happens at that level in the commercial lending space.

@EN-kr3xt That's because football players are beyond reproach. They're heroes and modern gladiators, and us mere mortals should be forever grateful for allowing us to worship them. Who else can mitigate our feelings misfortune and lament in this thing called life? Pickleball players? Enough said.

But the consensus among scientists when it comes to toxicology is that the quantity is more important than the actual substance (LD50). Some compounds do have a bio cumulative effect in the long run, but the quantity ingested over a short or long time span is more important. Water is supposed to be healthy for you, right? Drink four gallons of water in an hour an you'll drop dead from hyponatremia. Have the occasional beer or glass of wine, or abstain and break your neck while falling from a step ladder changing a light bulb. People who are hyper vigilant about their diet in an effort to delay death tend to be neurotic and unpleasant to be around.

Ontario Premier Doug Ford has challenged President Trump to a vintage style "Loser Must Shave Head" steel-cage wrestling match to settle the tariff issue.

UAP sightings are probably the result of some kind of optical projection device commissioned by the military designed to deceive an enemy. Think about it.....the apparitions manfest out of nowhere and then disappear, just like turning off a light switch. I think the sightings are real, but real trickery.

This was hilarious because the host is obviously clueless regarding the methodologies behind specific studies, j shape curves, chronic vs acute effects, etc. She was trying to dumb things down whilst the guest was focused on a "deep dive" into the results of the study.

Aren't these aerial phenomena only supposed to occur around Area 51 or Papoose lake?

I wouldn't be surprised if the downing of those "UFO's" over Alaska and the Yukon's are nothing more than PR stunts to put the public at ease in light of what happened with the spy balloon last week. NORAD is now conveying that they're adept at monitoring our skies for potential threats as opposed to last week's debacle with that spy balloon.

This has nothing to do with him supposedly having committed the crime after crossing every T and dotting every i based on what he learned while studying criminology. He studied criminology because he's a classic psychopath who leads a deviant lifestyle. He's fascinated with crime and other thrill seeking deviant activities because of his innate shallow affect and low neuroticism. Criminal activities and deviance is what he needs to "feel" something to satisfy his arrogant grandiose sense of self and sense of entitlement. Showing up at the crime scene after the fact, toying with investigators, etc., these are all traits that correlate to an antisocial deviant person looking for high stakes thrill seeking behavior. He's "wired" differently from the average person. Cold blooded mafia assassins also often fall in this category. Their brains are "wired" differently from birth. 100% remorseless.

I read somewhere that the helicopter pilots may have been wearing night vision goggles. They apparently impede light emitted from objects while enhancing overall ambient light at night. The helicopter was flying at an altitude above their designated altitude, and night vision goggles restrict light below the field of vision.

@Artman1 In large quantities......absolutely! But people who constantly kvetch and obsess over what they should or should not ingest are the worst of the bunch.
