  1. I'm middle aged and very depressed lately as the result of my girlfriend having left me after eight years! I am heartbroken and compare every woman I meet to her, and I'm worried about the future..........But the reason suicide is not on my radar screen is because I have a very nice cash nest egg in the bank, my house and car are paid for, I'm very active physically (5X a week), I don't abuse alcohol, don't have kids to support, and I have a large social circle of friends with many attractive women. If these mitigating factors weren't there I might think different.
