  2. That the Western Civilization dominates, and developed most of the technological civilization isn't really a big new idea. But I agree, that it shouldn't be measured in old buildings, and some things have been invented several times or the ideas came from outside of Europe.

  3. Mentioning the printing press is kind of misleading. The relevant version was invented in Germany.
