  1.  @ryanmc2175  The next optional steps for guys is getting a humanoid robot with AI (gynoid), then using egg cells plus surrogacy to have real children. If someone sees his robot wife as property it makes no sense to have an AI child, which wouldn't have any rights on it's own. This strikes me as seeing children as a hobby, not as a purpose to have a stake in the future and pass ones genes forward. I doubt that completely independent artificial entities will be accepted by society with the same rights, and on top of that maintained and protected to keep existing.
