Batgirl is also a established character, and she's not black. Also, guys are mostly just not into that.

  11. The last time I watched the second one, I decided to not watch it again. It's just not the same for me anymore. Also, the music sounds very old fashioned. Best Christmas movie probably is Imaginarium (Nightwish related).

  12. 😂 No. That would be more or less me. A lot of guys watched Buffy. Many might be watching anime now. But I have to admit, a tuned down version of the main character and her quirkiness would not push me away. The anti-male feminism does, aside from other things. Buffy was a emotional show with funny dialogs, great characters and great stories. This here appears to be light years away.

  20. Franchises with prequels and sequels aren't inherently bad, but they're certainly ruining the whole concept. The people arguing like "but it's good compared to the slob we had the recent years" are the problem. Aside from the lawyers in management making everything about intellectual property.

There's no way I'm spending money on this, even if it was entertaining. This review is also flawed, though. Using movies to feel more educated about AI is a very bad idea. Also, if you want more Sci-Fi, watch more anime.

  30. Captain Marvel seems to have killed the Alita movie series through journalist assassination and low effort on advertising. This movie could have funded another season of Raised by Wolves. It's always the great sci-fi stories with gynoids (female robots) that suffer, and I hate it. Ironically, Batgirl "killed" two female red hat characters at once (Batgirl and Lamia).
