Violence against ethnic Germans in 1939 Poland is unfounded... No evidence exists.

@PerPress If you watch that all the way through, please point out where there is any "ethnic Germans were being ki lled for simply being German" as stated above by the OP. Poland's policies were generally better than Prussia's had been from 1795-1918 when Prussia was basically an occupier that was "Germanizing" Polish territory. Many Germans left on their own for various reasons, and the Poles were not violent or threatening towards those who stayed. Clearly the Germans were now 2nd class citizens, simply reversing the roles as they were under Prussian occupation.

@PerPress "Roosevelt received the full content of the Secret Protocol from Herwarth von Bittenfeld in Moscow (a German diplomat), but Roosevelt never informed Poland before the invasion - WHY?" Why you ask.... Ok, by the time there was a draft of an agreement it was less than 60 days before the German invasion. When did Roosevelt get said draft? Days, weeks? What we do know as fact is: "By the end of August 1939, Poland had secretly being mobilizing its army to a strength of 700,000". Why did they do that? Clearly Polish military intelligence was good enough to break Enigma, but its pretty clear that someone had also tipped them off about what was coming. They dispersed their air force the day before the German invasion and were on high alert. The only conspiracy I see here is the German one to use false pretenses to start a war of aggression where Germany and Soviet Russia restore the 1795 partition borders of Poland and occupy it again. Its notable that the French started mobilization on 26 August, and the British had passed The Military Training Act of 27 April 1939 and were preparing for war.

@PerPress Agreed on the "BOTH world wars were good for nothing.". As far as who wanted war, just look at who did what, when. Hit ler re-armed Germany long before anyone else did and there was no external threat, none. Involvement in the Spanish Civil War, and taking Czechoslovakia, Austria, and Poland were aggressive land grabs, people were watching and acted accordingly. Hit ler wanted war, that's undeniable.

@-ED- Ok, lay your evidence out there... I'll start with this: The early NS party was funded by party member dues, member donations, and mostly small to medium business donations. That is irrefutable fact and covers the 1920's. When you get into the 1930-33 period, the funding previously mentioned is still there, but now German industrialists are getting involved. The party was broke by 1932, then bailed out by I.G. Farben and Krupp. In a secret meeting in Berlin on February 20, 1933, the "Party" leadership met with the top 25 Industrial concerns in Germany and secured enough funds to save the party. There were no Americans at the meeting or involved in the decision making. Want the list of attendees and the agreements reached?
