  2.  @GreenThumb27  He did try to de-escilate the situation. If you saw the video of the shooting, you saw that he was trying to retreat and only fired on people who tried to grab his gun, those who assailed him whilst on the ground, or those who pointed a gun at him.

It was for camping according to his testimony, and you are dismissing this because he "isn't the athletic camping type", whatever that is? How about directly disprove his testimony. Also, he couldn't buy the gun, but his friend could legally, because under Wisconsin law, minors are allowed to handle firearms for traditional and recreational uses. Which camping absolutely is.

However, given all the people he shot intended to kill him or cause serious harm to him, this case self defence clear as day.

Rittenhouse (it was one trial) PROVES Rittenhouse complied with his duty to retreat, and that the only people he shot were a direct threat to his life. Otherwise, he would not have been acquitted on account of self defence. Anyone who says otherwise is coping about the media lying to them, or they hate Kyle for standing up for himself against socialist criminals.

GG aimed his own Glock at Kyle, prompting Kyle to fear for his safety shoot him.
