Maybe if Americans didn't want to pay so much for healthcare, they should consider eating a salad.

I think you just described fraud...

@austinhernandez2716 What I mean is 3/5ths of the American population are overweight or obese. This undoubtedly has effects on the demand of healthcare, which raises the cost.
2
@austinhernandez2716 Why do we need regulation? It's mostly subsidies that encourage sugar production.
2
@iamchillydogg Yeah, such as the sugar subsidies and government lies about corn.

@austinhernandez2716 True. People now know these lies, and have no excuse to end up on My 600-lb Life.

@austinhernandez2716 I bet your bottom loonie there is a insulin shortage in Canada.

@austinhernandez2716 cbc. ca/news/canada/calgary/canada-insulin-supply-protection-1.5244359 The yanks are threatening the insulin supply and has already ruined the supply of other drugs.

@isecretlyvotedemocratbut2426 The good news is most greengrocers sell various vegetables, already grown, obviously. Chop them all up, put them on a dish and done!
1
@isecretlyvotedemocratbut2426 An issue affecting 7% of the population has resulted in obesity affecting 39% of the population. I see.

@isecretlyvotedemocratbut2426 Thankfully, you know better and now have no excuse to become another one of Earth's moons.

@teosamarzija I was referring to obesity. Guess what is the leading preventable cause of cancer behind cigarettes? Obesity. Guess what is a major risk factor for type 2 diabetes? Obesity, no matter which way you look at it. Guess what is a major risk factor for coronary heart disease? Obesity. Guess what is a leading cause of high blood pressure? Obesity. Guess what is a risk factor for strokes? Obesity. Those are just a few results of obesity. And as a non-American I can tell you that the average perception of Americans around the world is not super athletic men who are built like brick walls.

@teosamarzija It varies from person to person, from what I have seen, as a rule of thumb, don't eat 4000 calories when you sit on your arse all day.
