  46.  @srelma  Because it is infinitely worse to be wrong about medicine than it is to be about economics. Even still, there are debates within medicine and experiments are being done literally all the time to find out whether treatments are effective or not. TIK takes his views from various books on economics, a list of them can be found in the description. Most of the authors are from the heterodox Austrian School, but that isn't a refutation of all 27 books with "economics" in the title in the list.

I am saying that saying that saying the school is "heterodox" is not an argument. And of course TIK presents a one sided view economics; we are biased creatures. Even the best economists have their biases. If he has "learned" from this, it means that the Austrian School has made a convincing argument and perhaps they aren't as crazy as they are made out to be after all. I will agree it is silly to have an unwavering attachment to an imperfect human system. Hence the saying "free markets are the worst economic system, except for all the others tried."
