28:15 You should read "The Philosophical Origins of Austrian Economics" by David Gordon. Menger was inspired by Franz Brentano's Aristotelianism, and Bohm-Bawerk was inspired by William of Occam, another renaissance thinker. Mises took their laws and put it into a deductive system, it would be like saying Newton was a rationalist stuck in his head for coming up with a deductive system to explain all hitherto known physical laws.

@СергейМакеев-ж2н right, but inasmuch as he was getting things right he was doing so as an Aristotelian scientist, like how Locke separated his religion from his philosophy

Well, the task he set himself here was to trace who influenced whom, he does realise there are things which make the particular beliefs different from one another.

@Garentei Well, it's either Marx wasn't a Hegelian, Hitler never met Chamberlain, and Rand isn't influenced by Locke, or TIK is right here
