More and more boosters are carrying more and more payloads. This is what they look like on reentry. How does it feel to have such a dinosaur-level world view?

Why can't it just be a reentering satellite making a fireball swarm, like over Hawaii last October 24?
2
these reentries are warned in advance but exactly where along the final track is impossible to predict because the descent path is so shallow. The 'Aerospace Corporation' in the US puts out alert messages.

@neilhamill318 -- Sorry I wasn't clear. This was NOT an 'incoming rocket' sent from somewhere aimed at somewhere. . It had been launched into orbit some time earlier and was sinking back towards the atmosphere for a random reentry over somewhere on Earth.

@87gob54 == ...and we can understand that any ETI active locally will be as detectable as they choose, not us. The analysis challenge for us is to isolate the observations that provide compelling evidence of non-human activities. My pessimistic assessment as of now is that the enthusiasts, the clowns, the mentally disturbed, the malicious pranksters, and the cynical con men currently setting the 'standards' of research are hopelessly incompetent in filtering the noise from the all-to-potential 'signal' == and most don't even seem to want to, they thrive in the current ambiguities that their methodologies encourage.
2
tommy, what do you know about this event that we don't?
2
Why are you skeptical of the rocket explanation?

Thanks for sharing some reality.

Why can't THIS video just be a satellite reentry?
1
@DanTheManOG == How does this new event look different from satellite reentries throughout the Space Age?
1
Yes, it skims the upper layers while being slowed down, in a shallow descent, and you're right, most folks expect it to be 'falling' straight downwards. By then the fireball phase has ended.
1
The fireball phase is about 40 or 50 miles up, still going very fast and it can cross entire sky in a minute or two. Eyewitness estimates of 'over my house' and lower than airliners are all wild guesses. The Hawaii reentry last October 24 [google it] had its altitude precisely measured by triangulation at 40 miles [one observer saw it cross in front of Polaris, another observer a hundred miles north saw it directly overhead, do the trig]. .

Date/time please?

Why not a satellite reentry fireball?
1
Kiss your a$$ goodbye, because that's what it was.

Date/time of that one? Why can't it just be a reentering satellite making a fireball swarm, like over Hawaii last October 24?

@neilhamill318 == "You think their going to expose the systems capabilities over space junk." == Earth to Neil! Satellite imminent reentries are forecast in advance by space tracking teams, all the time. This one was, too.
1
@neilhamill318 -- Don't you believe me?
1
@neilhamill318 == You need to familiarize yourself with the real-word uncertainties of satellite reentry prediction. Even an hour before reentry the exact point can't be predicted because of short-term variation in upper atmospheric density and more important, wide variation in air drag as the object randomly tumbles. .It could come in tens of thousands of miles short of, or long past, even the latest possible predicted point. Very unlike military warheads which come in at a far steeper angle in known orientation.

More reentering satellites?

China lies. They dumped a rocket stage on Ivory Coast [West Africa] last year, parts with Chinese ID codes were recovered, they never admitted it was theirs.
