Your definition of a career is different from me. My definition, is "Something I enjoy to do, and wake up in the morning excited to go do, it doesn't matter if it pays me great of not". There doesn't need to be upward movement or any movement, most people consider what you said a "Job" because they really don't want to be there, but they do it because its a means to making more money. No one loves their job, but people who have careers' they love it, and will not quit it for anything.

Thats what happen to me and my first EX too, she love me alot, and saw something about me, but we were in highschool and its hard to make money when your not even 18 yet. I was alittle bit of a $imp and I let her get away with alot. She started talking to $imps online and they started putting thing in her head, and so she dump me. I make 6 figures now, she works at a great clips.
