Men do spend money on stuff but only the things they really want (TV, video games) they don't spend on random stuff to decorate the house. Another proof is, the riches investors in the world are majority Men. Woman are too emotional to invest correctly. Woman can get convice to spend money on things base on their friends owning things they want. There is a reason the Goods Market catter to woman, because they know woman are more willing to spend on junk they don't need.
