  1. Roughly half-way across the northern edges of Kensington Gardens and Hyde Park in London: we have Queen's Gate. I have been there many times, but never saw anything resembling a gate.

  2. "Berserk" is 'bear-shirt'. A fighter would go totally nuts with blood-lust. without any protective armour, clad only in a bear-fur timic. "Serk" matches with '"sark", as in Cutty Sark. A cutty sark was a low-cut blouse; women who wore these often were prostitutes and labeled accordingly. A ship was named 'Cutty Sark', and a whiskey named after that ship. So one might meet a cutty sark, wearing a cutty sark, aboard the Cutty Sark, drinking Cutty Sark. I miss London.

  4. Milton Keynes was a New Town developed by the Government in the 1960s (in this case, 1967) to relieve congestion in London. Applying ancient origins to the city's name is cute, but unsatisfactory.
