My forebears had endured German occupation three times in as many invasions. My grandmother guided me to over-buy when food stuffs were affordable. I survived this eating crisis.

  19. @Alien_Bones  you can be forgiven for a genuine case of dyslexia. The forest of Katyn was where the Soviet Union, after the Molotov - Ribbentrop Pact, had removed Poland's intellectuals, military command, high civil office holders... and murdered them in masse. Later the Soviets sought to blame the massacre on the Nazis.
