  3. A legitimate question of Trump might have been: could your recommend someone to replace Preet, one who fits closer to our judicial philosophy? The specificity of that proposed and desired administrative scalp should have been highly suspicious. There are laws against bills of attainder; discretion in firing specific inconvenient civil servants should also be subject to a similar legal perspective. As I recall, several convicted Watergate co-conspirators had stumbled at this gate. AFAIK the ratio decidendi has yet to find some codification in this Supreme Court.

The team sought to introduce elements which, in proper order, must have been produced at the voir dire phase. Trump's correct course of action is to file an appeal.. AFAIK no such appeal has been filed.
