  1. This strikes me as far-fetched. Alcohol dehydrates the body through a requirement for metabolizing this toxin. This alleged patient would have had to drink nearly 5 liters of water a day just to compensate for the booze. For American readers, that's about 2 gallons/day between the booze and the compensating water. And that's before any water intake for the biological processes which keep us vital. I'm calling BULLSHIT on this one.
