That is massively improbable, as any such order would come from active-duty command, not from the civilian authority in the Cabinet; and vaccinating everyone who had not got their jab by 10 AM tomorrow is logistically not feasible. Beyond that, the branches of the military have other tasks with higher priority which need officers who aren't tied up in courts martial. He displays a broad ignorance in stating that Taiwan must now be fearful. The alleged absence of a dozen F-22' s (supposing there were no substitute pilots) would not alter the balance of deterrence in the Western Pacific.

I had just barely got into the top 1% of salaried taxpayers.. I was well paid, not screaming for a raise, and still reckoned that Bill Gates could liquidate his holdings, pay every last cent of possible tax, and still retire o my favored middle class standard of living for four times all recorded History. Is Bill Gates a better person?

I had not seen any supporting evidence that Washington had issued such command . A) variolation typically disabled a person for days, at the least, and there was a risk of death B) for most of his tenure in command, one of Washington's major troubles was desertion among the ranks..Forcing often uneducated troops to undergo the procedure would risk seeing them head for home. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary proof. I'm not saying that it didn't happen, but it does seem very unlikely.

  33.  @billcasey9672  A Nikk Bouchez correctly noted, there was an inoculation technique for smallpox before vaccination came around. It temporarily debilitated the patient, and as I recall from years back, it carried a mortality rate of about 2%. It's not a lie as such - I find it unlikely on balance, unless there were a major epidemic happening.
