they've existed for a long time. the systems haven't been robust enough to give to grunts. not surprised vortex is the company to change that

@thehalberdier4774 the second amendment clearly states that civilians should have access to all of the small arms including and especially those used by the police and military. Any law banning a type of ammo will be found unconstitutional by the Bruen history and text ruling.

@coreyp9211 the only issue with DI is running them suppressed is a PITA since they get so damn dirty. But you know I love my dirty girl Garand daddy talks about back pressure like flow through suppressors don't exist. Flow through is the future and will make DI superior again.

Vortex, like Sig, is a people's company. They love their civilian market. Wouldnt be surprised if we see a civilian version of this optic not long after fielding.

They probably spray it off and use an ultrasonic cleaner and a little oil. Good as new!

@Adventure_Rig for low power SFP is arguably "better" because you aren't going to need to use the range indicators at anything less than max magnification yet you keep your pretty reticle at low magnifications.

Good choice and even better mindset. Mobility over protection while trying to get the best balance of the two.

Any proprietary parts will massively increase price.

@MALICEM12 in the case full auto is necessary, laws regulating full auto become irrelevant.

Was carring my gun in a falty holster wedged between me and my arm. Did an unintentional drop test on the asphalt that day as the gun slipped from the holster with almost no friction. Looked straight down the barrel as it smacked the road below me. Happy to report my P10C is drop safe. Funny enough, I sold my M17 to buy it or I might not be here to write this comment.

@thehalberdier4774 they're switching to armaments that are competitive in a near peer war. That isn't the tech that would be used if they were to fight us citizens. We are better off analyzing the FBI/CIA kit. More times than not their strongest weapon is information.

@Félix also 5k rounds hot is different than 5k rounds over time. Hot guns can run dirtier because the carbon hasn't had a chance to set. Brush and oil and you'll be all good

@jordanslaughter8695 the FBI puts out stats every year. It's not antiqued. Lefties will always say it's the system that's broken and not the people who brag about regularly killing people in the streets. Quite an insane amount of cognitive dissonance. One of those instances where they convince themselves of something that isn't true because the implications would upheave their world view.
