  6. Matrix is essentially a federated message broker that supports bridges. It can be used for way more than just chat messages. You can stream just about any data through matrix securely and sync it across several servers.

  8. ​​ @katanah3195  This is the wrong way to think about UX. If Linux is superior we should have multiple ways to do things including not having to use the cli for simple tasks like system or desktop environment configuration and application installation.

  9.  @AnotherAvaibleName  I agree theyre probably out dated but it's a starting point to do more research. I think for most stuff 5 wipes is enough unless you're doing really sketchy stuff and are paranoid.

  12.  @Philip550c  embrace Matrix. If you're technically included you can use matrix to bridge all of the other services. Of course the off platform communication won't be secure but it keeps as much control in your own server as possible in a secure way. Luke's problem with matrix is most people use the main server not with the technology itself.
