@bubba99009 that would be true if he had changed his mind after publishing the articles. What is alleged is that he was using the articles to try and give himself an advantage by artificially changing the demand for a stock to benefit himself. He posted a lot of claims and took several actions that can very easily be seen as disingenuous and fraudulent. It all comes down to whether he believed what he was saying in his own articles, if his trading aligned with those beliefs and if there is exonerating evidence or additional context to his trades that would rule out fraud. If he regularly said "you should short now and only close your position at this price point" and consistently does the opposite then that is almost certainly fraud.
